A Scots mum has slammed her local council after her son was rejected for a place at an additional needs support school due to staff issues.
Senga Ross, 32, and partner Remi Fee, 35, had spent months looking for a subtle additional needs school in Edinburgh for their son Ayden who has cerebral palsy.
The parents had thought they had found the perfect school that would allow the five-year-old who can't walk or talk to thrive. But they were shocked when the youngster was rejected from Oxgang's Braidburn school with the couple being told that their "son's presence at the school would have a detrimental effect on others at the school."
