ScotRail services return to normal as Christmas strike threat looms

SCOTRAIL services will return to normal timetables on Tuesday after planned strike action was suspended.

Network Rail workers with the Rail, Maritime and Transport union (RMT) were originally meant to walk out on November 5, 7 and 9 but announced on Friday that action would not go ahead to allow for negotiations over pay.
