Rail passengers have been warned to prepare for cancellations and disruption today amid an ongoing dispute between the RMT union and ScotRail.
A ban on overtime and rest day working is in place as part of action short of a strike from the RMT. It follows the 24-hour strike action on Monday (October 10) due to a pay dispute.
The RMT rejected the latest pay offer tabled by ScotRail, leading to today's industrial action. The dispute is separate from the Network Rail RMT dispute that has also resulted in several days of strike action.
