Scots rail passengers face travel chaos this weekend with more strike action planned on the railways.
The RMT union strike action will cause a reduced rail service in Scotland over the next three days. Passengers will face significant disruption with only a limited number of train services operating on around a dozen routes across the country.
Cross-border services will also be significantly affected by the strike action and engineering works in North East England. Those services which are operating will run between 07:30 and 18:30, with passengers being asked to plan ahead and check their journey before travelling.
