Scotrail has announced they will now be running more trains from Edinburgh to Glasgow and the Borders.
The train operator made changes to their services this week and many concerned commuters looked on worried about how it would affect their daily travel.
However, train users in Edinburgh will be pleased to know that more services will be running out of Waverley, but there are to be some cuts to services.

Scotrail’s announcement this week was the biggest shakeup of their timetable ever, and some 250 services were cut.
Under the changes timetable, Scotrail will now run some 2150 daily trains from May compared to around 2400 in 2019.
The borders service will see more trains, with Edinburgh and Tweedbank now leaving every half hour from Waverley Station.
Scotrail also announced that their only profitable railway line, Edinburgh to Glasgow, will also see more trains operating throughout the day.
However, commuters travelling between Edinburgh and Perth will see some disruption to travel.
The service will now make an added diversion to Kirkcaldy and ergo will increase journey times. Initially they planned to divert the service to Dunfermline but were forced to back down after a public outcry.
The train operator say they will continue to look at the timetables in the coming weeks and months,
ScotRail’s operations director David Simpson said: “This timetable is the start of the process of recovering from the pandemic.
“As passenger numbers increase, we will keep the number of services under regular review.”
