ScotRail forced to cancel trains after 'unexploded bomb' found near tracks

AN unexploded bomb has been found on a building site close to a Scottish railway, forcing a section of the track to be closed.

Network Rail Scotland made the announcement on Twitter, stating that the Muirend to Neilston line, in the southern Greater Glasgow area, is temporarily closed.

⚠️ The railway between Neilston and Muirend is closed due to an unexploded bomb being found on a building site close to the line. Local police have implemented an exclusion zone for safety reasons, which includes a section of track.
