Scotland head coach Steve Clarke has named his Scotland XI to take on Poland in a friendly match.
Tonight was supposed to be a momentous occasion but a World Cup play-off date with destiny and Ukraine will have to wait, due to Russia's invasion which has changed the lives of many Ukrainians.
Instead, Scotland and Poland join forces to raise funds for the efforts to support the nation and Clarke names a strong team.
John McGinn is named captain as he takes the armband from Andy Robertson, with the skipper missing due to illness. Celtic left-back Greg Taylor replaces him in the XI.
Kieran Tierney of Muirhouse is the sole Lanarkshire representative in the starting team while Stephen O'Donnell, Lewis Ferguson and Kenny McLean are on the bench.
Motherwell goalkeeper Liam Kelly could also be involved while former Albion Rovers striker Ross Stewart is also among the substitutes.
Scotland Starting XI: Gordon, McTominay, Hanley, Tierney, Patterson, Gilmour, McGregor, Taylor, McGinn, Christie, Adams.
