Glasgow is expected to remain bright and dry today as Rangers fans prepare for their club’s Europa League final clash against Eintracht Frankfurt.
The Ibrox side will face off against the German Bundesliga team in their first European final in 14 years.
While fans over at the Europa League host city of Seville will be treated to scorching highs of mid to late 30 degrees today, the weather won’t be so bad in Rangers’ home city of Glasgow.
The Met Office is anticipating bright and dry conditions in the city throughout today, with a high of 18C expected at 4pm.
Temperatures will dip to the mid-teens during and after the match, according to forecasters.
There is also a chance of heavy rain to hit Glasgow from midnight onwards in the latest weather prediction.
Elsewhere in Scotland could see some wet spells from 10pm onwards, as a band of rainfall sweeps over from the west at this point.
Spanish police has estimated that around 150,000 football fans will descend on Seville today - with 100,000 coming from the Rangers side.
Fans of the Light Blues have been flooding into the city over the past few days, as the club looks to secure its first European title in 50 years.
Earlier today we reported on warnings that have been issued for “extreme” heat in Spain, which is “unusual” in May.
Southern parts of the country could see temperatures reach a sweltering 40C this week.
The country’s meteorological agency AEMET said: “Very high temperatures will exceed 35C in many parts of the Peninsula and the Balearic Islands.
“It may reach 40C to 42C in parts of the south and Ebro, with very warm nights.
“It will be a truly unusual episode for the time.”
The AEMET says that the warmest days will be Friday and Saturday, while temperatures will likely fall from Monday to “more typical” values.
