Scotland to see 'White Christmas' as snow to fall for two days in weather warning

Scotland Met Office

Scots are to experience a 'White Christmas' this year as snow is forecast to fall on December 25.

Parts of Scotland will be hit with snow and ice on Christmas and Boxing Day as the Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning.

Earlier this month, temperatures dropped to record lows and much of the country faced conditions well below freezing. Milder temperatures brought the cold snap to an end, but it now looks likely that a White Christmas will be seen by many Scots.
