With Scotland's sunny spells due to end next week, parts of the country will be battered with heavy winds.
A Yellow weather warning for wind has been issued for Tuesday April 11, lasting until Wednesday April 12. The latest alert is widespread across the west of the UK, stretching from Northern Ireland to southern Wales.
Scots in the southwest are expected to be blasted with winds of up to 60pmh which may cause delays for rail, road air and sea transport. Wind could make power outages possible, while sea fronts and coastal communities likely affected by sea spray and large waves.
