As Taylor Swift fans - or Swifties - get their devices ready and anxiously await the arrival of their pre-sale codes, the American singer added some new dates to her UK and Ireland tour.
The star is heading to British shores in 2024, in her first visit to the UK since 2018 for her Reputation tour. Since then, the singer has released a further four new albums, and two re-mastered versions of Red and Fearless.
Fans will be anticipating all hell to break loose on the Ticketmaster queue, as thousands await in anticipation to secure their space at the show.
Taylor Swift has today added new dates to her UK and Ireland tour, including an extra Edinburgh BT Murrayfield show on Sunday, June 9 2024.
So, with three Scottish dates up for grabs, how can you make sure you are best prepared for the Ticketmaster onslaught? Read on below to find out more.
When will I receive my presale code for Taylor Swift?
If you pre-ordered Taylor's latest album, Midnights, before October 27 last year, then you will have qualified for special pre-sale access.
Your unique pre-sale access code will be sent between Thursday July 6 at 10am and Friday, July 7 at 10am.
Pre-sale tickets for Edinburgh will go on sale on Tuesday, July 11 at 10am UK time. Codes may only be used to purchase up to four tickets per customer.
Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last, and a presale code is not a guarantee that you will receive a ticket.
How will I know if my registration for tickets has been successful?
Ticketmaster originally put on a Ticket Sale Registration in order to filter out buyers looking to resell tickets, and keep the seats for genuine fans.
The Ticket Sale Registration will randomly pick people to be entered into the first sale of tickets, with any others not selected at first to be placed on a waitlist - and they may receive an invitation to join the sale if further tickets become available.
Fans will be informed by July 5 if they have been successful in the registration process for Taylor Swift tickets.
How will the ticket sales work?
For UK dates, ticket inventory will be split evenly between the official ticket agents Ticketmaster and AXS.
If you are selected, you will be randomly assigned a unique non-transferable access code to either Ticketmaster or AXS.
Successful registrants will be selected at random to receive access codes. If you are not initially selected, you will be placed on the waiting list to receive a code.
If you are placed on the waitlist, and any further tickets becomes available, you may be sent an email to join the sale.
