Oli McBurnie has been accused of assaulting Nottingham Forest fan George Brinkley by beating

SCOTLAND international footballer Oli McBurnie has denied a charge of assault by beating after an incident following his club Sheffield United's play-off semi-final loss to Nottingham Forest.

The striker - who has made 16 appearances for Scotland - entered his not guilty plea to the amended charge on Thursday during an appearance at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court.
