Scotland have slipped below Argentina in the World Rugby rankings following Saturday’s disappointing defeat to the Pumas.
Gregor Townsend’s side went down 26-18 in Jujuy in the first full international of their tour to South America.
Not only have the hosts gained the upper hand in the three-game series but they have also leapfrogged the Scots in the latest world order.
Argentina gained 0.82 ranking points to take them up to seventh, whilst Scotland drop below them to eighth.
