SCOTLAND'S only indoor ski slope is closed until further notice after the firm that runs it appointed a liquidator.
Snow Factor at XSite Braehead will cease trading for now after the issuing of a court order.
The centre in Renfrewshire went into administration last year, according to Companies House records, and a voluntary liquidator was appointed on November 7.
A statement released by the company on Tuesday said: "Following ongoing legal proceedings and a subsequent court order, Snow Factor at XSite Braehead will be closed from today until further notice."
The self-described "longest indoor real snow slope in the UK" has advised customers with existing bookings to get in touch by phone or by email.
The company said: "Any enquiries about existing bookings should be directed to customercare@snowfactor.com or 0141 885 7000."
Snow Factor's parent company, Ice Factor Group, also owns Ice Factor Kinlochleven in the Highlands.
XSite has said that its other businesses, including shops and restaurants, will stay open.
The statement continued: “Customers can continue to enjoy everything else that XSite has to offer, including fantastic shops, restaurants and leisure, such as Gravity, Odeon, Nando’s, Climbzone, Paradise Island Adventure Golf, TGI Fridays, Five Guys and many more.”
