The most popular baby names for boys and girls by Scottish council have been revealed - with one showing up in seven different areas.
It comes after the 100 most popular baby names in Scotland saw Jack knocked from the top spot after nearly a decade-and-a-half.
From Aberdeen City to West Lothian, the new rankings have seen some hugely popular names pop up, with Noah and Olivia grabbing top spots for boys' name and girls' name in seven and five council areas respectively..
The annual report by the National Records of Scotland showed that some areas stuck to traditional names as South Lanarkshire and West Dunbartonshire had a majority of Jacks - an old favourite.
Meanwhile, Freya and Millie have risen in popularity, appearing as top or joint top spot in numerous council areas.
Notably, Orkney and Shetland did not have a top girls' name as there had to be at least three instances of the name registered to be included on the list, which wasn't the case in both areas.
Daniel Burns, National Records of Scotland statistician, commented: "NRS is happy to welcome all the new babies of 2022."
