Public Health officials have confirmed the fourth case of monkeypox in Scotland.
The first case north of the border was detected a week ago and Public Health Scotland (PHS) have said the individuals affected are receiving treatment under nationally agreed protocols and guidance.
Dr Nick Phin, PHS director of public health science, said: "Anyone with an unusual blister-like rash or small number of blister-like sores on any part of their body, including their genital area, should avoid close contact with others and seek medical advice if they have any concerns.

"Public Health Scotland continues to work with NHS boards and wider partners in Scotland and the UK to investigate the source of these infections."
179 cases have now been confirmed across the UK, with there being no actual monkeypox vaccine - the smallpox vaccine offers 85% protection as the two viruses are similar.
