Domestic football is officially out of the way for the next two weeks for clubs in Scotland as attentions turn to Steve Clarke and his side who have Euro 2024 in their sights.
Cyprus and Spain lie in wait for Scotland and while we're almost six months on from the Tartan Army's last competitive game, precious little has changed as far as Clarke's squad is concerned. The group he named for the upcoming double-header had his trademark air of familiarity to it as he stands by the men who did so well to secure us promotion to Nations League A and the accompanying fallback of a Euro playoff if we need it.
There's only one new face in the form of Norwich's Angus Gunn and given the other two keepers in the squad shipped seven goals between them over the weekend, he'll be hopeful of a start in at least one of the two clashes on the horizon. Elsewhere, Kieran Tierney made a mark off the bench for Arsenal while Lyndon Dykes completed 90 minutes for the first time since his leukaemia scare in January.
