Iain Baxter, a former senior executive in the whisky industry, has been announced as the new chief executive of Scotland Food & Drink.
With more than 15 years’ experience at Glenmorangie, Inver House, International Beverage, and latterly Ian Macleod Distillers, he brings a deep understanding of Scotland’s food and drink industry.
Baxter will start on 31 October, with John Davidson - who is currently deputy chief executive and strategy director - acting as interim until then.
