A Scotland fan’s plans to put a cone on a Miami statue were foiled by a police officer - in a sharp contrast to the Tartan Army’s celebrated antics in Boston.

Footage shows Chris Nicoll, from St Andrews, placing the cone on the head of Spanish explorer Juan Ponce de León's statue.
