Scotland is facing blustery showers that could give rise to weather warnings over the coming days, the Met Office has predicted.
The service's latest report says the unsettled nature of the forecast 'may require' warnings to be issued. Conditions could turn stormy due to the bands of showers and gusts set to appear this weekend and through Monday.
There is one silver lining, however, as the Met Office notes temperatures will be 'quite high'. Despite the soggy weather, Scots will be heartened to know there will be some spells of sunshine and it could feel mild as warmer air is drawn up from the south.
