Easter weekend has almost arrived with plans starting to form as we look to celebrate the holiday in the best way possible.
Whether you are looking to take the kids out for the day, get away for a long weekend, or simply meet up with friends and family, the weather could be make or break.
Fortunately, it is set to be a bright few days this bank holiday, with mainly dry conditions up and down Scotland, according to forecasters.
Here is what to expect across Scotland this Easter bank holiday weekend, according to the Met Office.

It is a little colder in Aberdeen and further north, with sunny conditions but highs of just 9C throughout.

Saturday
More good news on Saturday for most of Scotland, with sunny spells throughout.
A little bit more cloud throughout Saturday compared to Friday but things will remain dry.
Despite the overcast conditions, a medium UV level is expected throughout the day. Pollen levels are expected to be low, good news for hay-fever sufferers!

Sunday
On Easter itself, the weather is set to be pleasant up and down the country.
Much the same as previous days, with bright conditions and and sunny periods during the day.
Things will be cloudy for most parts, but temperatures will be comfortable with averages of 10-14C across Scotland. Light winds may make things feel a little colder, but temperatures will remain just above average for the time of year.
There is a slight risk of some drizzle in some areas though, with these conditions likely to be in the far northwest.
The forecast is of course changeable, with weather often unpredictable at this time of year. We will update in line with forecasters as we edge closer to the bank holiday weekend.
