Sebastien Pocognoli urged Scotland to put on a show for the Tartan Army at Hampden against Slovenia, but it was a second half horror show that his men served up as they were deservedly beaten. And in truth, the first half wasn’t much better.
An improvised finish from Ryan Christie had given Scotland the lead at the break, but goals from Aljosa Matko and Danijel Sturm after the interval saw Pocognoli fall to his second defeat from two at the national stadium.
