A man seen firing a stun gun disguised as a torch is facing lengthy jail term.
Jamie Garrity, 35, was caught after “showing off” the device in a park in Prestonpans, East Lothian in June, 2020.
At the High Court in Livingston he admitted two stun gun charges.
He also admitted making a homophobic remark to a police officer.
Judge Lord Harrower said: “It’s a charge that carries a minimum sentence of five years subject to exceptional circumstances.”
Garrity was remanded in custody prior to sentencing later in the year.
