A young Scottish man has said Covid actually saved his life after beating cancer and sepsis.
Alastair Gibson, 23, was suffering with a persistent cough which he had no idea was a deadly form of cancer. Only when he caught Covid months later did doctors carry out further tests and discovered he had Hodgkin Lymphoma, which was at an advanced stage.
During his chemotherapy, he developed sepsis but managed to fight off the life-threatening infection.
