Schoolgirl told she had constipation diagnosed with watermelon-sized tumour

An 11-year-old schoolgirl is undergoing chemotherapy after doctors found she was suffering from a tumour the size of a watermelon.

Ellis Miller was diagnosed with nephroblastoma - a type of kidney cancer found in children - after her stomach started to balloon in size. The youngster has been in and out of hospital for the last three years and has been through several operations after the cancer spread to other organs, including her lungs.

She is now desperate to go on holiday to Greece - a dream that has helped keep her going throughout her gruelling treatment - with her Ellie's family having set up crowdfunding page to make her wish come true. According to the Daily Express, mum Amie Fletcher, 31, first spotted a growth in her daughter's stomach when she was just four.
