A schoolgirl had a sweet exchange with Queen Consort Camilla during her visit to the city.
Eight-year-old Sasha, from Liverpool, was among the children who got the chance to meet their Majesties as they visited the M&S Bank Arena this Wednesday. The Royal visit came ahead of this year's Eurovision Song Contest and the King's Coronation.
King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla were invited to unveil this year's Eurovision stage as well as meeting with this year’s UK contestant, Mae Muller and the hosts of Eurovision: Ukrainian host, Julia Sanina, Scott Mills, Rylan Clark and Hannah Waddingham.

During the visit, their Majesties were also invited to meet the Blue Peter presenters, Joel Mawhinney, Abby Cook and Mwaksy Mudenda and they were awarded gold Blue Peter badges in honour of the Coronation.
Blue Peter viewer Sasha, who had a green badge aimed at helping to protect the environment asked King Charles: "As King do you want to inspire more people to care for the environment?"
Queen Consort Camilla then stepped in to ask Sasha how many badges she had in total, to which she replied she had eight. Camilla said: “Eight? That’s pretty showing isn’t it, having eight badges”, adding “yes, that’s a lot of bling.”
Sasha also had another question for the King as she asked “when you were a child did you watch Blue Peter?”
King Charles replied: "Yes I did, and a lot of other [programmes] that no longer exist.” He added that it’s amazing how long the show has gone on for.
