Schoolboy fighting for life after being hit by police van

Police IOPC Lancashire Police

An 11-year-old boy is fighting for life after he was hit by a police van.

The boy was crossing Owen Road in Lancaster just before 8:30pm on Thursday (May 25). Lancashire Police said they were attending an emergency call when the crash occurred.

He was taken to Royal Lancaster Infirmary in a critical condition.
