Parents who are struggling under the cost of rising bills can apply for school uniform grants worth up to £150.
The help is provided by some councils across the UK. It isn’t compulsory in England, which means not all local authorities will offer the support.
The eligibility criteria also varies - but generally speaking, those who claim free school meals, are on low incomes or claim benefits might be entitled to help.
