Pupils at a secondary school will receive free hot lunches to help amid the cost of living crisis.
They will also be given free breakfast and snacks during the day as part of the scheme, which it is hoped will teach pupils the value of “stepping up”.
Unsurprisingly, the meal deal has received a warm welcome from children at Rudheath Senior Academy, in Northwich, Cheshire.
