Students across India are set to see a mix of school closures this week, driven by both scheduled festival holidays and the ongoing monsoon. While all schools nationwide are expected to remain shut on Wednesday, August 26 for Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi, heavy rainfall in several states, including Odisha, Delhi-NCR, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand and parts of the Northeast, has also raised questions over local, weather-related closures. The exact holiday schedule, however, will differ by state, district and individual school.
