Losing a pet is never easy and saying goodbye is the hardest part.
When Natalie Franko Larason went to a local park to scatter the ashes of her beloved dog Biscuit, she never expected her to communicate back.
But the late dog had a special way of reminding her that she was never truly gone.
An incredible video taken by Natalie's husband shows her throwing a handful of ashes into the air, which briefly appear to take the form of a dog.
Natalie, from Southern California, shared the footage on YouTube earlier this month, commenting that the shape looked exactly like Biscuit.

She wrote: "I was astonished to notice that the shape they formed looked exactly like her.
"I took it as a sign of her final goodbye and cherish this video, it's miraculous."
The 12-year-old shepherd collie mix was rescued from Paws Chicago animal shelter, but died suddenly and unexpectedly a few months ago.
Natalie said: "It's been amazing to connect with other pet lovers, especially those who are grieving, like myself.
"It's been healing for me to get a chance to talk about Biscuit."
Natalie found comfort in the incredible video and it seems other dog owners did too.
A person commented on her YouTube video: "Just lost one of the strongest forces in my life, for 16 years, the hurt runs deep. Beautiful seeing the image of Biscuit. Yes, they are guardian angels that stay with us."
Another said: "That was 100% your precious Biscuit saying her last goodbye."
A third wrote: "Thank you for sharing this AMAZING video for it gives others like myself so much hope in knowing of the afterlife that awaits for us all. We will all be reunited again."
A tattoo artist has been helping dog owners grieve by inking their pet's cremation ashes into their skin.
Kat Dukes has defended the controversial practice, saying it has been done for centuries.
Knowing not everybody is comfortable with the process, Kat explained how she mixes "only a few grains" of ash into the ink.
Kat said: "It's always nice to get a memorial tattoo but it ends up being even more meaningful when you add that extra element."
