Scarlett Moffatt gets McDonald's van at her house as she throws huge party for family and friends

Scarlett Moffatt pulled off an epic surprise for her friends and family when she arranged for a McDonald's van to pull up outside her house as she hosted a huge party.

Scarlett has just returned to County Durham after spending the festive season away from her nearest and dearest due to starring in a pantomime down south.

Just like she did a few years ago at the Sunderland Empire, Scarlett took on the role of the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella, delighting audiences of all ages in Crawley over Christmas and New Year.

And, after loving her trip to panto land, Scarlett wasted in time in celebrating her return to home turf by throwing a bash at the luxurious home she shares with boyfriend Scott Dobison.

Scarlett’s gathering, attended by pals like well known local drag queens Tess Tickle and Emma Royd, was complete with her very own McDonald’s McPlant van, as she catered for her hungry guests with the delicious new McPlant, Maccy D's vegan take on their famous Big Mac.

A McPlant consists of a Beyond Meat patty, mustard, ketchup, Vegan Sauce, fresh onion, pickles, lettuce, tomato and Vegan Cheese.

Commenting on the plant-based burger and giving it her seal of approval, former I'm A Celebrity winner Scarlett said :“That is good that you know.”

Posting about the party on her Instagram grid, Scarlett added: "Absolutely loving the new McPlant – it tastes just like my fave McDonald’s burger and I can’t believe it’s vegan," to which another I'm A Celeb champion, Vicky Pattison, joked: "I'm sorry... I am all about that chicken big mac thing lass...dying to try one."

Scarlett, who shot to fame on Gogglebox in 2014, is the latest star to be treated to a home visit from the McPlant van, after former TOWIE favourite Mark Wright arranged for it to visit his £1.3 million home renovation to deliver lunch for his builders.
