'Scared' driver, 21, fined £11,000 for breaking strict five-minute parking rule

A driver was slapped with £11,000 worth of fines for failing to buy a parking ticket within five minutes of pulling into her space.

Hannah Robinson, 21, was sent the eye-watering bill by Excel Parking after amassing nearly 70 fines at a car park in Darlington, County Durham.
