Scam warning issued for Marks and Spencer site as shoppers urged to be aware

Experts have issued a warning about a fake Marks and Spencer website that aims to steal personal data from shoppers.

The site will pop up as an advert that takes you to the misleading page, which isn't associated with M&S in any way. It'll then ask shoppers to input sensitive information that could lead to fraudsters stealing their data.

The warning was shared by online discount platform Wethrift, and the founder has issued some information about the false site and what happens when people come across it.
