New Delhi: A petition has been moved in the Supreme Court seeking to form an SIT to look into the matter of Badlapur encounter and sought to issue direction to Central Government, all the State Governments and Union Territories of the Country to ensure that their law enforcing agencies/ police machineries are kept in complete and constant surveillance by use of body-cam while on duty.
The Plea
The plea was moved by advocate Ghanshyam Upadhyay, who also sought to lodge FIR into alleged police encounter of main accused Akshay Anna Shinde in the Badlapur incident.
