SBI Clerk Notification 2026: 1538 vacancies announced; Check last date, eligibility, fees, dates and how to apply

The State Bank of India (SBI) has issued an official notification for a Special Recruitment Drive aimed at filling backlog vacancies for SC, ST, and OBC categories. This recruitment is for the post of Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales), widely known as SBI Clerk. A total of 1538 vacancies have been announced under this drive. The online application process starts on 7th August 2026 and will remain open until 27th August 2026. Notably, SBI released the SBI Clerk Notification 2026 on 7th August specifically for backlog vacancies, while the notification for regular vacancies is expected to be announced soon. Candidates aged between 20 and 28 years who meet the eligibility criteria can submit their applications before the closing date.
