Last Friday, Jeff Satur performed with Thai band Mean in a live session of Fade, which articulates how we may have forgotten how to forget.
The ballad about an unforgettable love also inspires the Jeff Satur x CASETiFY collection launched at the recent opening of the CASETiFY pop-up store at CentralWorld's Atrium zone.
Last year, the multi-talented artist joined Wayfer Records, a label under Warner Music Thailand. Jeff is also a style icon, who co-designed the Saturn Embrace mobile phone case as a tribute to his fans, while the Saturn Pass case whimsically serves as one-way priority access from Earth to the ringed planet.
The single Fade particularly resonates with the Memories Pieces case that conveys the message: When we get older we will be free.
Founded in 2011, CASETiFY is a lifestyle and tech accessory brand, whose first product was designed to evoke Instagram's "grid profile". The Photo Grid case also featured durable material that cemented the brand's popularity in such a short time.
The Saturn Embrace, Saturn Pass and Memories Pieces editions come under the Re/CASETiFY project that reduces plastic waste from mobile phone cases and electronic devices. Used phone or AirPod cases can be dropped off at the pop-up store to redeem a 15% discount on the purchase.
The cases will then be properly sorted and recycled to make new products. So far, CASETiFY has repurposed 28,000kg of plastic waste which is enough to fill 24 football pitches.
Besides Jeff Satur, other collaborators include Coca-Cola, Disney, Bearbrick, Yohji Yamamoto, One Piece, Pokémon, Lourve, NBA, Blackpink and BTS as well as Grammy Awards 2022 winner Olivia Rodrigo.
