A savage street attack which sparked a chain of deadly events was caught on a Ring doorbell camera, a court has heard. Two gang members launched a vicious ambush on a man cycling down a residential street in Wirral on December 23 last year.
It was claimed this assault was the final trigger which lead to the fatal shooting at the Lighthouse Pub in Wallasey Village the following day when beautician and dental nurse Elle Edwards was shot dead, reports Liverpool Echo.
The 26-year-old's killer, Connor Chapman, was a prominent member of the Woodchurch estate organised crime group which had been engaged in a bloody feud with a rival firm, based around the Ford/Beechwood estate.
