Saudi Arabia's Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC) said on Sunday that the terrorist attack by the Iran-backed Houthi militias in Yemen against a water desalination plant in al-Shuqaiq did not lead to a disruption in supplies and production.
An official source at SWCC added that the attack took place on a small scale and was overcome through the activation of the emergency plan.
Concerned teams also competently tackled the damage at the site.
The Saudi-led Arab coalition said on Sunday that it had destroyed four armed drones launched by the Houthis towards southern parts of the Kingdom.
The hostile attack targeted the desalination plant in Al-Shuqaiq and an Aramco facility in Jazan.
