Saudi Prince Abdullah's death mystery solved: Alcohol, Cannabis, Xanax and multiple drugs found in his system; suicide ruled out

A London inquest has concluded that a 29-year-old Saudi prince found unresponsive on the bathroom floor of a luxury Kensington hotel suite died from cardiac arrest caused by a lethal combination of alcohol, GHB, and multiple other substances. The coroner recorded a verdict of death by misadventure, ruling out both suicide and third-party involvement.

Prince Abdullah bin Fahad bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Jalawi Al Saud, a member of Saudi Arabia's ruling House of Saud, was found by hotel staff at the London Marriott Hotel Kensington on 25 November 2025. The room cost £600 a night. Paramedics were called but could not revive him, according to a Times of India report.
