Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah held talks with his Indian counterpart Subrahmanyam Jaishankar in Riyadh on Sunday, reported the Saudi Press Agency.
Their talks focused on the historic and strong bilateral ties that bind their friendly countries and peoples.
They tackled means to bolster these relations and joint coordination over regional and international issues of interest.
Later, the officials chaired the inaugural Ministerial Meeting of the Committee on Political, Security, Social and Cultural Cooperation that is affiliated with the Saudi-Indian joint strategic partnership council.
The Riyadh meeting addressed ways to boost bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and India in the fields of politics, security, culture and social affairs.
They also tackled means to strengthen their economic partnership in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
