Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, received a phone call on Wednesday from UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
During the telephone conversation, they discussed the regional and international developments, it said.
The UN chief expressed his gratitude for the Kingdom's efforts to achieve a truce between the parties to the crisis in Yemen, SPA added.
