Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, held talks with President of the European Council Charles Michel in Jeddah on Tuesday.
They reviewed the historical relations and existing cooperation between Saudi Arabia and the European Union countries in various fields, including those related to energy, environment and climate change.
They discussed regional and international developments and efforts exerted towards them in order to achieve security and stability in the region and the world.
The meeting was attended by Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Member of the Cabinet and Envoy for Climate Affairs Adel al-Jubeir, Saudi Ambassador to the European Union Saad Al-Arifi, and a number of European Council senior officials.
