Saudi Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz has met in Jeddah with Jordanian ministers to discuss ways to cooperate in the fields of water and renewable energy, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Sunday.
Prince Abdulaziz held talks with Jordan’s Minister of Water and Irrigation Eng. Mohammad Al-Najjar, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Dr. Saleh Al-Kharabsheh and Minister of Environment Dr. Muawieh Radaideh, SPA said.
Saudi Deputy Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Eng. Mansour Al-Mushaiti attended the meeting.
During the meeting, they discussed aspects of cooperation between the two countries in the fields of water, irrigation and renewable energy, and enhancing integration and cooperation in these vital areas, the news agency added.
The talks aim to achieve the directives of the leaderships of the two countries, and the aspirations of the two peoples, and discussing the best opportunities for joint cooperation and the exchange of expertise.
