Saudi Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz and his Indonesian counterpart, Arifin Tasrif, have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for cooperation between their two countries in the fields of energy on the sidelines of the G20 summit held in Bali.
The Saudi Press Agency said Wednesday the MoU aims to enhance cooperation on oil and gas, electricity, renewable energy, energy efficiency, clean hydrogen, the application of the circular carbon economy and its technologies to reduce the effects of climate change, digital transformation, innovation, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence in the field of energy.
It includes cooperation through exchanging information and expertise in areas related to the MoU, exchanging visits between experts and specialists between the two parties, and organizing conferences, seminars and working sessions, SPA aid.
The MoU also involves conducting joint studies, and working to develop qualitative partnerships between the two countries to localize materials, products and services related to all sectors and supply chains and their technologies, and enhancing cooperation between energy companies in Saudi Arabia and Indonesia, the news agency added.
