Saudi Arabia has executed multiple Iraqi nationals convicted of attempting to smuggle narcotics into the kingdom through its Northern Borders region, according to an official statement issued on Wednesday, April 30, by the Saudi Ministry of Interior.
The ministry said the executions were carried out after the accused were arrested by Saudi security authorities, investigated by prosecutors and later convicted by specialised courts on drug trafficking charges.
