Prince Khalid al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Governor of the Makkah Region and Chairman of the Central Hajj Committee, declared on Monday the success of the Hajj for 2022.
The holy pilgrimage has been a success on the security, services and health levels with no incidents or diseases being reported among the pilgrims, he added.
He thanked God almighty for the success, crediting the Saudi government for providing the necessary services to ensure that the pilgrims had a smooth journey.
Prince Khalid said the security plans in place also played a major role in achieving the success. He also highlighted the roles played by health teams, security forces and workers at the holy sites.
The Kingdom’s successful organization of the Hajj over the years is attributed to the keenness of the leadership, dating back from the days of the founder, King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman, and to this day under King Salman bin Abdulaziz, he continued.
The leadership will continue to work tirelessly so that the pilgrimage can stand as a unique model, he added.
