Satwiksairaj Rankireddy celebrated the French Open victory on Sunday with some great dance moves on the court while his partner Chirag Shetty threw his T-shirt into the stands. The crowd cheered every move and the Indian pair knew how important the victory was after losing three consecutive finals - two this year and one last November.
"It's been long since we danced after the final," Satwik said. "After three back-to-back finals losses, this was the fourth. We did not want to think too much about the result and thought of having fun. We wanted to give our 100% and enjoy the match. We had fun till the semifinals and wanted the same in the final. Even when we were down in the second game, Mathias (coach) told us to have fun. One or two points later we got the momentum," Satwik added.
