Saturday Night Takeaway fans were delighted when hosts Ant and Dec introduced a brand new segment to the show, Ring My Bell, during the latest episode.
The competition sees participants rush to their neighbour's homes to be in with a chance to win £500.
Thanks to the rise in popularity of video doorbells, the SNT team is able to flash a video from the camera of a home of someone in the audience of the live show.
The studio audience member then needs to jump and shout 'ding, dong that's my bell!' if they see their street on the big screen.
Then only if one if their neighbours watching from home runs to their front door to ring the bell are they then in with a chance of winning the cash.
The neighbours, who can race against other neighbours, have 45 seconds to ring the doorbell and say 'ring my bell'.
If successful, the winning neighbour will also win £500 in the chaotic competition.
The new segment proved popular with viewers - with some even calling for it to have its own spin-off show.
However, not everyone was a fan, with some viewers sharing a common frustration with the show.
Dog owners took to Twitter in their masses to share that their four-legged friends were getting worked up and even upset at the ongoing ringing doorbells.
"Dogs going mad at the ring my bell," wrote one fan.
Another chimed in: "So who else’s dog went mental at all the ring doorbells on @antanddec Saturday Night Takeaway?"
A third commented: "@antanddec loved the ring my bell segment. But I hate you because my dogs been non stop barking for the past 15 minutes."
This isn't the only criticism the show has received, with some viewers at home speculating that the show is staged and wondering how people got to the homes so fast.
Taking to Twitter, one user said: ""SaturdayNightTakeaway mhm I feel like this segment is staged lmao."
A second sceptic noted that just seconds after one doorbell rang, neighbours had shown up at the contestant's house with babies in tow - observing that this seemed a 'bit suspicious'.
Saturday's episode was packed full of fun, including the 'Takeaway Getaway' segment, a guest appearance from Adam Lambert, a performance by the West End production of Mary Poppins, and Ant and Dec playing pranks at London's O2 Arena.
