Dec Donnelly has ruled out either him or co-host Ant McPartlin having to 'suffer' a Sunderland related forfeit should they lose out in the finale battle of Saturday Night Takeaway's current series.
The lads have been back at the helm of their popular ITV show for the last month or so. And, as well as welcoming stars like Rylan, Alison Hammond, Busted and the cast of Frozen to the studio for the weekly live broadcasts, the Geordie presenters have also been taking each other on once again in Ant v Dec.
As a result of losing out to Dec in the final last year, Ant has had to spend the whole of the last year doing monthly social media posts in tribute to his friend and presenting partner in crime; so is determined to get revenge when they fight it out in the series finale from Universal's Islands of Adventure in Florida.
Ant and Dec appeared live from Orlando to be guests on Friday's This Morning, to speak to Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond, when the subject of Ant v Dec cropped up.
Alison remarked: "Ant, you've really got to pull this back this year. You really do," to which Ant, walking closer to the camera, replied: "Alright Alison, thanks for that," with Dec adding: "I won it last year, so he's going for it."
Listening in, Dermot then asked: "What's the penance if you win this year Dec? I feel a Sunderland shirt coming on?"
Dec was swift to react, pointing his finger at the camera and saying: "No, no, no, no! Definitely not!" before going onto confirm that the social media post punishment would come into play for another year for whoever loses.
